  • On Job Learning

So, here's my first blog~ on Xanga, introduced to me by Gloria.

Talking about my first OJL. It was a turn around flight to Taipei - yes Taipei!! Rush hour I would say. Flight delayed for 45 mins. Captain made 2 announcement. Finally the plane took off at 1730. During take off, it was rather bumpy and noisy too. After the plane took off and seatbelt chime once, crew start to do their work. They were fast for everything - presetting the course, drinks, distributing and so on.

It;s only a short haul flight - only takes one hour 20 mins to reach and pax didn't given a choice for meal as they only have one choice as also the time didn't permit anyone of them to make a choice. Upon arrival, I took a quick one on my meal, eat it and prepare for the next flight from Taipei back to HKG,

This time on the way back me and Lee Yung get to hop on the "jumpseat". Fuh la~ la~. It was just an amazing experience and memorable one. Awesome view from the cockpit and it looks as if I can reach for the stars and pluck them down keeping it inside my pocket. We can even view Taipei from there which is just so mesmerizing. It's just a chance of a lifetime.

On the way back, I got a handson on the cart top setting, distributing and also the tray collection. Everything seems to be so fast. Then I need to hop into the cockpit again when I heard the captain announcement. We did have quite a smooth landing eventho there are black clouds around which I can really see with my own eyes for the first time - pretty scary!

Overall, great experience for a new crew like me. I did made a few mistakes Well, quite a number off I would say. Shall learn along my way. My friends out there, good luck to you guys too. Looking forward to fly with you guys!!!!

Keep updating more in future with more flights..
